Consistently forgets the password

Would give a higher rating if it didnt forget the password and had a better workflow. Poor UX work overall.

Frustrating quirks

PLEASE adjust the reservation time to be reflective of local time for the pickup location. Twice now I have reserved cars and because of time zone differences have wound up with the reservation being 11 hours off.

Forget this app going to rent from a company that cares about travelers

This app is so terrible to use every time I go to use it its forgotten my password, or it locks my account. I can literally type my password into the website and then come to this app and type in the same password and get locked out Avis needs to wake up and realize mobile travelers cant remember every freaking password and that they should tie it to your thumbprint or at least a pin. Four digit pin for the app would be wonderful and then have the password actually still saved. Youre logging into your phone with a pin already. It also be really nice if they would show your reservation space Ive never received a text message yet as to what space my rental car is in.

iPhone Passport (wallet) support still missing

Nice app, but it would be nice to have my Avis ID card on my iPhone Passport (wallet).

Don’t download

Doesn’t finish installing itself. Just hangs, half-installed. You can’t even delete it.

Doesnt show correct activity

The app does not show all of my activity and only shows a portion off my points. When I go to the full site it does have the correct activity. It also requires that I login again even though I selected remember login.

Horrible App

The app is in capable of adding up your bonus points as a preferred member and even calling customer service cannot fix that. Simple math to just take all the activity in the account shown and add up the points and yet the total that it shows is way, way lower than what you actually have as bonus points. If Avis is actually trying to use this App as a convenience to preferred members, they have completely missed the mark.

This app will not sign on

It continually reports a network problem. This began with the introduction of my new iPhone 6.

Ugh!

This app needs major help. Never remembers me nor can I figure out how many points I have. Also does not flow intuitively. I actually dread making a reservation with his app.

Someone should be fired

This app is simply unacceptable and unusable. It is broken to such a degree that I cant complete my reservation. Search finds the location I am after but the search bar is still actually on top of the selection I want. This happens when I search for MCO (Orlando airport). Last update was in November. If a large amount of the revenue of my company depended on this app I would be very upset. As a customer, I am very concerned. What other things are they doing half way? I have been Avis preferred for years, just switched to iPhone. Fix it.

Frequent logins & no TouchID

Having to repeatedly login to access particular functions is frustrating... Worse, the app sometimes forgets my account entirely. AND -- where is TouchID login? Also, many clearly web-page sections within the app respond poorly...if they respond at all. I like AVIS, but their app is still struggling... & id give them 1/2 a star if I could figure out how to.

Awesome

App worked flawlessly to make a reservation. Downloaded app and reserved vehicle in under 3 minutes!!! Having an avis wizard # allows you the most convenient service imaginable! Very satisfied.

Nice but requests my password too frequently

Every time I try to use the app I have to enter my password again. I use 1Password to manage my passwords - I wish it would have the option to stop asking for passwords (I use fingerprint anyway) or integrate with 1Password APIs. I havent seen any other app ask for passwords so frequently!

Not deserving of any stars - 1 was mandatory

Might be the worst app in the history of the App Store. This is coming from an Avis Preferred Plus member with over 200 reservations with these jokers!

Hit and miss

The actual reservation process seems to work well. I can save my login information and dont get logged out in the middle of a transaction which is better than I can say for the yellow bannered competitors app. The points balance and connectivity to it seems perpetually broken which is annoying at best. Ill continue to use the app since it also saves my corporate AWD# and makes bookings relatively easy.

Upset

I used the Avis app to reserve a car for immediate pick up upon arrival at LAX around 11 pm 2/24/2016. I thought I specified a return time of 6 pm the following day, but apparently I accidentally specified "am" instead of "pm". Not sure why it should matter, because all car rentals are for 24 hour periods, right? Wrong, at least for Avis. I got hit with a late fee upon returning it the next day before 6 pm. Customer service flatly refused to waive the late charge when I called them to explain. Who charges a late fee for a 19 hour car rental? Avis does. I will never use this app again, and I will never rent another car from Avis again.

Horrible App!

The app stops working repeatedly every time I try to manage my reservation. It just stops working! Do not download this app.

Could use improvements

Half the time my reservations dont show in the app and only can be viewed online

Latest update broken

Latest update appears to break app. No longer can find reservations, even searching by conf number. Have to use mobile web instead.
